Issabel is a continuation of the open source project formerly called Elastix v4.  It is still based on Asterisk and still integrates the database server and GUI to make all the features easily accessible and configurable without requiring detailed knowledge of Linux. One of the goals is to make the platform evolve into anything it may be needed for regardless of the propose.
